In most cases, because of various requirements for density and accessibility, you will need a variety of storage types to suit the variety of products in inventory. It is not uncommon to see warehouses employ a combination of shelving, standard pallet rack and high-density storage.

Pallet Rack

Generally used for palletized product or large bulky items, racking comes in a wide variety of styles and types. 
   

SELECTIVE RACK

Single Deep Pallet Rack provides 100% selectivity but low storage density.

  
 

DOUBLE DEEP REACH RACK

Two-Deep Rack provides 50% selectivity and increases density of product.

    
   

DRIVE-IN / DRIVE-THROUGH RACK

Drive-In and Drive-Thru Racks are effective and economical for storing significant quantities of identical items.

  
 

PUSHBACK RACK

Pushback Rack affords users the ability to achieve the best combination of higher density and greater selectivity.  Systems range from 2 to 6 pallets deep.
